I always look forward to Vanity Fair's annual Hollywood Issue because the pictures are beautiful. This particular cover was so nice, I needed to translate it into a fine art piece.

This was made in line and wash on illustration board. It was my first time using watercolor to make people and fabric, so I'm happy with the way it turned out.

My third attempt at making purses.

Officially I've christened it "the penny pincher" as a homage to this recession we're going through.

It's a basic cream denim bag with hand-painted penny images on the front and back, copper-colored polyester lining, and a vinyl shoulder strap.
